How to Transfer WhatsApp from Android to iPhone Directly

• Step 1 Launch Mobitrix WhatsApp Transfer.
• Step 2 Connect Android/iPhone with the computer.
• Step 3 Start transferring.

Launch Mobitrix WhatsApp Transfer on your computer. Select the "Transfer" feature from the toolbar on the left side. The corresponding icon looks like this:

1. Connect Android and iPhone to computer via a USB cable.

2. Please unlock your Android/iPhone screen lock and click "Allow"/"Trust" in the pop-up window.

   For Android:

   

   For iPhone:

   

1. After setting your Android phone as “Source”, iPhone as “Destination”. Click on Transfer to start the transferring process.



2. Transferring Process

1. Read the relevant instructions as shown in the figure below before transferring, and then click "Continue".





2. You need to back up your WhatsApp chat history to the local storage of your Android phone instead of Google Drive, and then tap "Done" on the screen.

   Note: Before backing up, you need to turn off "end-to-end encryption".





3. Please confirm again that you have finished backing up WhatsApp to the local storage of your Android device and then click "Continue" please.





4. The Developer Version of WhatsApp (100% protection of your privacy) will be installed on your Android device. After the installation is complete, you need to follow the instructions to log in to your WhatsApp account and then click "Done" on the screen.





5. After the transfer is complete, you can log in to WhatsApp on your iPhone device.

   Note: During the process of logging in to WhatsApp, if there is a prompt asking whether to recover data from iCloud, you need to select "Skip", and then click "Done" on the screen.





3. Transferred successfully.

Indirect Way to Transfer WhatsApp from Android to iPhone

• Step 1 Launch Mobitrix WhatsApp Transfer.
• Step 2 Connect your Android with the computer and then start backup.
• Step 3 Connect iPhone with your computer and then start to restore.

Launch Mobitrix WhatsApp Transfer in your computer and click on Back Up icon in the toolbar on the left side. The icon looks like this .

1. Connect your Android phone with your computer via USB cable.

2. Please unlock your Android/iPhone screen lock and click on “Allow” on the pop-up window.



3. Start backup: Click on “Back Up” button to start the backup.

   Note: Please place your device on a flat surface during the backup, which could avoid the unexpected interruption between your device and computer.



4. Android Backup Process

1. Read the instructions and click on Continue in the pop-up window.

• If WhatsApp has been installed on your phone, but Mobitrix prompts that WhatsApp is not installed, it indicates that your WhatsApp is an unofficial version. 2. You need to back up your WhatsApp chat history to the local storage on your Android device instead of Google Device. Then tap “Done” on the screen.





3. Please confirm again that you have finished backing up WhatsApp to the local storage of your Android device via clicking on "Continue".





4. The Developer Version of WhatsApp (100% protection for your privacy) will be installed on your Android device. After installing successfully, you need to follow the prompts/instructions to log in to your WhatsApp account and then click on "Done".

   Note: When you log in the Developer Version of WhatsApp, WhatsApp will request access to storage, please select "Allow".





5. Please check if your chat history data has been transferred to a customized version of WhatsApp. If so, please click on YES.





6. When backup process completes, you can view all your WhatsApp data including images, videos, documents and etc in your computer via clicking View it.

1. Tap the "Restore" in the toolbar on the left side. The icon for launching the Restore feature looks like this: .





2. Connect iPhone with the computer.

1. Connect your iPhone to computer via a USB cable.

2. Please unlock your iPhone screen and click Trust from the pop-up alert.





3. Start the restoration

Note: Before restoring, you need to disable "Find My iPhone" on your iPhone.

1. Find your backup file in the "Restore" list. Right-click the backup file you want to restore and tap "Restore to phone", and then select the target iPhone device you want to restore to.

• Right-click to perform "Restore to phone", or you can directly click a restore icon button at the far right of the backup file. Then you can select the target device that you want to restore to from there.
• Click the icon of WhatsApp Business in the restore list which looks like this: .



4. Restore process

   Note: The restoration duration depends on the amount of your chat data and the configuration of your computer.



1. When the restoration is complete, please follow the instruction in WhatsApp Transfer to log in to WhatsApp on your iPhone as well.

   Note: During the process of logging in to WhatsApp, if there is a prompt asking whether to recover data from iCloud, you need to select "Skip", and then click "Done" on the screen.





2. Restored successfully.
